Turbo Dune Rally

Turbo Dune Rally doesn't pretend to be a simulator and I love it for that. You slide across dunes, boost off ridges, and let the back end kick out around corners. The handling is arcade-floaty, so it's forgiving while still rewarding a clean line.

You can race by tilting the phone or by using on-screen buttons. I preferred buttons for precision, but tilt is genuinely fun on longer straights. Upgrades change the feel noticeably — swapping tires turned my sloppy drifter into something I could actually aim.

The track variety is decent, the sense of speed is strong, and the soundtrack is exactly the kind of cheesy I wanted. It's a perfect five-minute palate cleanser between heavier strategy sessions.
